When setting up a share campaign, you might wonder which image size you should foresee. In this article, we'll have a closer look and help you out.

When building one of the following share campaigns, you'll be asked to provide one or more previews. A preview contains the information that will be shared by your advocates and contains an image, a title, and/or a description.

When the objective is to share an image (e.g., a campaign visual or team picture), the uploaded image is also injected automatically in the preview.

  • API Share: The original media (image or video) uploaded by the manager is also uploaded to the social media channels, so its size and dimensions are maintained. Please take a look at the guidelines for each social media channel below.

  • In other cases (link share with preview image, media share without API support), The recommended size is 1200x630 pixels. If an image is uploaded in a different aspect ratio, Ambassify will automatically crop it to match the 1200x630 pixels format.

If your campaign is created for multiple social channels, it will be a matter of finding a good compromise with regards to its size.
