With this campaign type, you can upload a video file and ask your advocates to share it via different channels.

Go to Create Campaign and choose the first tile, "Like, comment, or share our content." Use the browse button to upload your video file. We recommend a maximum file size of 250 MB. Once you've uploaded your file, the platform will automatically recognize the video format (.mp4) and enable it for sharing. Now, you can click Next to start creating your campaign.

In the campaign builder, you will be asked to add the general settings for your campaign: a name, the rewards (optional), an author, a title, a description, and a header image.

Next, you can prepare the preview (if necessary, see below). This preview is of what the shared post will look like on channels for which we don't have API share. This is where you can add an image, a title, and a description text.

Similar to the share campaign, where the goal is to share a link (URL) or an image, you can also set a default message for each selected channel.

Important to keep in mind

  • The uploader supports mp4 videos.

  • You can share your video across all Ambassify-supported sharing networks. We advise you to always test your video share campaign on the various networks before publishing it.

  • The thumbnail will appear in the preview on social media when the video will not play natively on the social media channel (e.g. when shared via a personal Facebook profile)

  • For X, please upload a file with a height smaller than 1024 px.

How will the video be displayed?

When the API share is enabled in your account, the video will be shared natively on your ambassador's social media channel. This is possible for all networks that allow API sharing (LinkedIn, X, and Facebook pages). This means they’ll appear just like any other video your members would manually post on their profile or page and play directly inside the feeds.

The video will be shared on a landing page when sharing on non-API networks (personal Facebook profiles, WhatsApp, and others). A thumbnail you choose will be displayed in the social network feed.

This is an example of a video shared as a LinkedIn post with API share enabled. The video can be watched directly in the feed:
