In the new reporting, you can compare your metrics and find out at a glance if your campaigns are improving. This feature allows you to easily discover trends.

How does it work?

Go to the reporting section in the backend and click on the date range button. In the pop-up window you can now select the checkbox "Compare with..."

When you've selected a rolling date range of for example "Last 30 days", the comparison will be automatically made with the previous 30 days. The same goes for all the other rolling date ranges that are available. In this way, you can quickly compare for instance "this month vs last month", "this quarter vs last quarter", and so on.

The reporting comparison feature also allows you to compare two custom date ranges. For example, if you want to compare the first month of Q1 with the first month of Q2, if you want to compare two specific periods in which you ran important or similar campaigns or if you want to compare the first quarter of this year with the first quarter of last year.

Important note: if you compare two custom date ranges, always make sure that the upper date range is more recent in time than the lower date range. In the example below, you see a comparison between May 2021 and January 2021.

However, please take into account that this feature applies to Ambassify's new analytics infrastructure. This means that data from before 9/28/2020 is not available. This also means that certain comparisons cannot be made just yet (i.e. this year vs last year).

Discover trends

When you've selected two periods to compare, your reporting overviews and tables will start showing how your numbers are evolving compared against the previous time period. The green or red arrows, together with the (+ or -) percentage rate tell you immediately if your results are improving or decreasing.

So in just a few clicks you can compare how your advocates are participating over time, how certain groups or segments are doing, which tags or topics are scoring well, which channels are used most, how the open rates of your messages evolves, and so on. Depending on the KPIs that you've set, you now can discover trends, which wil allow you to evaluate and take action even more easily than before!
