Import sources
You can link your Instagram company page to the import sources in the general settings of your Ambassify account.
Once you have done this, you will see Instagram posts appearing when you go to Campaigns > Import.
This is what you will see:
When you create a campaign from one of these suggestions, it’s important to remember that you are creating a campaign around an existing Instagram post on the company’s Instagram feed.
My preference here goes to asking your ambassadors for a like or comment:
Asking your members to share the Instagram post on their own profiles also works. Still, it is not ideal in this specific situation because your employees will be sharing a link to your original Instagram post.
If you’d like your ambassadors to share a piece of media (video or picture) on their Instagram profiles, then we have better alternatives.
Upload image(s)
Starting from the campaign builder, you can click on ‘I want my ambassadors to like, comment, or share content’, and then you can upload (an) image(s) or video directly on Ambassify. This way, you can ask your employees to share a photo or video directly on their own Instagram feed or story.
You can find detailed information about this campaign type in this article.
What is important to take into account is that this only works for photos or videos, which makes sense because we are talking about Instagram here.
💡This allows you to provide “ready-to-use” Instagram posts or stories to your employees. By adding some default sharing copy your employees can use as a short caption to their post, they only have to copy and paste it, so it’s completely effortless for your employees to share.
💡Alternatively, if you want to offer an option that also works on desktop, you can also use the “Check out our content” campaign and upload your Image or video there. Employees can then download the content item directly from the campaign and create their own Instagram post or story from scratch by logging into their Instagram accounts on their laptops.
Post-on-Instagram campaign
Alternatively, you can ask employees to create their own posts.
To do this, you can simply access the campaign builder to create a campaign from scratch and then click on: I want my ambassadors to post their own content > post on Instagram.
💡This works well if you share a theme with your employees to share their own content related to it. This could be about a specific product or service, a company event, or a company culture-related topic. This can be a great way to encourage creativity and diversity in the posts.
Follow us on Instagram Campaign
This campaign is self-explanatory, so there is no need to get lost in details. You paste the link to your Instagram account page and ask employees to follow you!
Build up your follower base, and reward your employees with additional points. Takes no effort at all.
To summarize, the four main options for utilizing Instagram on Ambassify are:
Linking your Instagram company profile to the import sources in the general settings of your Ambassify account, so that you can create campaigns using existing Instagram posts from your company's feed and ask for likes or comments.
Uploading a photo or video directly on Ambassify when creating a campaign and asking employees to share it on their Instagram feed or story through the mobile app.
Ask employees to create their own posts on Instagram by selecting "Post on Instagram" when creating a campaign from scratch and clicking on "I want my ambassadors to post their content."
Maybe not all of your employees already follow your company on Instagram, ask them to follow you in a campaign, and it’s a very easy way to get more followers and give your employees some extra points while doing it.
