The auto-share feature allows community members to enable the automatic sharing of content to their social media profiles.

With the auto-share feature enabled, advocates can allow Ambassify to share content in their name automatically, without an intervention of the advocates themselves. This feature provides a good solution for advocates who would like to be active on social media, but often do not have the time to create or share posts. Therefore, it is typically useful in a leader advocacy use case.

How it works:

  1. When a share campaign is published in the community, we look for all the members that:

    1. Can see the campaign

    2. Are eligible for auto-share (determined in the admin settings)

    3. Have enabled auto-share on some of their connected social media accounts

  2. If multiple content variants (visual + title) and/ore share messages are configured, a random variant and default share message are selected

  3. For each member’s connected social media accounts with auto-share enabled, a share of the content is smart-scheduled using the same algorithm the community uses when clicking on “Smart Schedule” (this is always somewhere in the next 24 hours.)

Managers can:

  • Enable/disable the auto-share feature for their community

  • Go to settings (gear icon) > Sharing > Auto-sharing

  • Select which members are allowed to enable auto-share using our audience builder

Members that match the audience mentioned above will be able to:

  • Select for which of their connected social media accounts they want to enable auto-share

This feature is available only for API share and only for the following networks:

  • Facebook Page

  • LinkedIn

  • LinkedIn Company

  • X

  • Google Business
