Skill Enablement allows you to curate your advocates’ learning experience by configuring Skill Paths that are presented directly within the app. In this article, we’ll walk you through how to set up and configure Skill Enablement in your account.
Please note that this feature is currently in beta and may still be subject to significant changes.
Skill Paths
Currently, four Skill Paths are available which you can all enable separately, according to what is relevant for your program. Those that are disabled will not be visible to your advocates.
When Ambassify launches new skill paths in the future, you have the choice to have these activated automatically or to keep the paths disabled so you can choose to enable them manually.
Lesson Settings
First, you can enable the skill paths you'd like to offer first-time advocates. The settings for Boost and Share skill paths are defined and ready to use. For Personal Post and Editing Share Messages, you can additionally configure the lesson content.
For Personal Posts, you can choose to replace the suggested example of how a good personal post looks like with your own example. Be careful to configure the copy in all languages that you have enabled in your account. Next to the copy, you can also change the image of the example post.
The Edit Share Message skill path contains guidelines for your advocates to understand what they are free to talk about and what they should avoid. You can remove suggested guidelines and add your own by clicking "Add item".
This is also where you can upload your company's social media policy, and change the label text according to your preferences.
If you want to personalise the configuration, we advise you to follow these steps:
1) Enable the skill path(s) you wish to configure.
2) Scroll down to Lesson Settings, click Configure, personalise the configuration and save your changes.
3) Back on the Skill Enablement settings page, save all changes in the upper right corner when you're ready.
4) Now all enabled skill paths will be live.
Example
Below you can see an example of how the Boost skill path will be presented in the first Boost campaign that a new user would see.
After completing the lesson, the campaign will be unlocked, and the user can interact with the campaign.
