The Learning Center

Help your members build their advocacy and social media skills, at their own pace.

What is the Learning Center?

The Learning Center is a section of your community where members learn how to become confident ambassadors. It contains short, practical lessons made by Ambassify, on topics such as sharing content, improving your online presence and growing your network on LinkedIn.

The Learning Center is available to all customers.

Where do members find it?

The Learning Center is available on both the web version and the mobile app. Members open the Learning Center through the Learn item in the community menu.

How is it organized?

  • Topics group related content, for example everything about growing your network.

  • Courses sit inside a topic. Each course focuses on one skill and has a level: Foundation, Growth or Mastery.

  • Lessons make up each course. Most take only a few minutes, and some include interactive exercises.

Members choose which courses to follow and can track their progress. We keep adding new topics and courses over time.

Why use it?

  • More confident ambassadors: members learn how to share and post well before they start, so they participate more and get better results.

  • Less training work for admins: the basics are covered, so you don’t need to explain them in every onboarding session.

  • Insight into progress: completed lessons appear in your reporting, so you can see how your community is developing its skills.

Go to Reports -> Ambassify reports -> Adoption & Skills to find out which skills your advocates are acquiring.

Skill Gates: learning at the right moment

Some courses are linked to a core action in the platform, such as sharing or boosting a post. You can put these courses behind a Skill Gate, which makes them required before that action. When a Skill Gate is on, a member who wants to do that action for the first time is shown the course right then, for example when opening a share campaign. They learn exactly what they need, when they need it.

To set up Skill Gates, go to Settings -> Community -> Skills. Skill Gates only work for courses that are enabled under Customize available courses: if you disable a course, members aren’t shown it anywhere, so its Skill Gate has no effect.

Enabled courses that aren’t behind a Skill Gate are still available in the Learning Center, so members can take them whenever they like.

Configuring the Learning Center (Premium and Enterprise)

Every community gets the Learning Center with a default setup. On a Premium or Enterprise subscription, admins can change the configuration:

  1. Go to Settings -> Community -> Skills.

  2. Enable or disable the Learning Center.

  3. Click Customize available courses and select the courses you’d like to offer in the Learning Center. You can also choose to automatically activate new courses as soon as they become available, or to keep them disabled until you activate them yourself.

  4. Choose which of your enabled courses to put behind a Skill Gate, so members must complete them before the related action.

  5. Configure the lesson settings linked to your Skill Gates.

  6. Save your changes.

We recommend leaving all courses enabled, especially for new communities: it’s the easiest way to make sure members grow confidence and share correctly from day one.
