When users install the Ambassify or Whitelabel mobile app, they'll be prompted to allow push notifications. We recommend encouraging them to accept this, as it ensures they’ll be notified whenever a new campaign goes live in your community.

Push notifications by default

By default, every time you publish a campaign in your community, a push notification will be automatically sent to users. This keeps them engaged and informed about new opportunities to participate.

How to manage push notifications

You have full control over push notifications for your campaigns. Here's how you can manage them:

  1. Globally disable push notifications:

    • If you want to turn off all push notifications, you can go to your account settings. Under Settings > Mobile App, you'll find the option to disable push notifications for all future campaigns completely.

  2. Disable push notifications for specific campaigns:

    • While creating a campaign in the campaign builder, you'll find an option in the bottom-right corner to disable push notifications for that particular campaign. This is useful if you don’t want to notify users about a specific campaign.

Important: Once a campaign is published without a push notification, you won’t be able to send it later. So be sure to decide before publishing!
