Users are unable to log in

Symptoms

When a user tries to login everything seems to go correctly except that Ambassify does not make it past the loading screen.

Issue

We've identified an issue with BlueCoat Proxy SG where the `Authorization` set by our frontend application does not reach our application servers.

Resolution

This is due to a feature in the BlueCoat Proxy SG that strips any Authorization header unless the domain is explicitly whitelisted to bypass the proxy authentication mechanism based on the SSL certificate.

The platform is not reachable from your work PC

Symptoms

When you try to access the community using your work computer the platform will not load, instead an error message DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN is shown.

When you try the same on a personal PC or your phone the community loads as expected.

Issue

Your company might run a different domain name server for internal use, if not configured on this DNS server as well the addresses will not be found when you are connected to the corporate network.

Resolution

Ask the network team to configure your whitelabel domains on the internal DNS server. The domains they should configure are identical to those you've provided to the team that manages your external DNS.
