In the settings of your account, you can find custom properties under the member tab.


These are fields that you, as an admin user, can add on top of the standard profile fields available in the member profiles at Members.

You can filter on these custom properties the same way as you can also filter on groups to better target your campaigns. If you are looking for more information about segmentation in Ambassify, take a look at this article.

These custom properties come in a few variants: Single-Line Text, Multi-Line Text, Number, Checkbox, Radio buttons, Dropdown, or Date.

The custom properties are currently not shown in the members' profile on the community itself, so they cannot update those fields themselves unless you create a form campaign. That is why it is helpful to use custom properties for the information you upload yourself or information that doesn't change quickly, for example, a client number or an office location.
